Alcon Opti Free ® Express® also contains citrates, which effectively remove and prevent the accumulation of new protein deposits. Opti Free® Express® lubricates contact lenses to soothe minor irritations and discomfort that may occur upon wearing and leaves them fresh for hours. No physiological solution is required when using Opti Free® Express®. The product is also recommended by Johnson & Johnson.
Composition: sterile, buffered, the isotonic aqueous solution containing sodium chloride, sorbitol, EDTA sodium salt, boric acid, aminoethylpropanol; TETRONIC® 1304 citrates and poloxamine as cleaning ingredients; preserving agents: POLYQUAD® (polydronium chloride) 0.001% and ALDOX® (myristoamidopropyldimethylamine) 0.0005%.

Properties of Opti Free ® Express ® fluid components:

Directions for use:
Rinse each side of the lens thoroughly with Opti Free® Express® MPDS. Fill the Alcon® container with an appropriate amount of fresh solution to cover the lens completely. Leave lenses in a closed container overnight or for a minimum of 6 hours. Rinse each side of the lens in order to remove any dirt before applying the lens. An ophthalmologist may recommend additional products or treatments depending on the composition of the tear film or the lens wear. Always follow your ophthalmologist’s instructions. The lenses can be stored in a closed container for up to 30 days. If the lenses are stored for more than 30 days, they should be washed and disinfected with fresh solution prior to application.
